Huge 2nd day for our AF Track and Field athletes! Jordyn Kearn broke the 3A record for Discus with a 151'8" throw. She is now the State Champion in Shot Put and Discus.
Jose Torres placed 5th in the 100m and 2nd in the 200m. Austin Adair placed 6th in the 400m.

🌳🚀 Exciting News for all AF Students! 🚀🌳
Join us this Friday, May 17th at 11:30 AM at the American Falls High School ag building for a special tree-planting ceremony! Our high school has been selected by NASA to receive a Moon Tree seedling from the Artemis I mission, and we are thrilled to plant it in our community.
This unique tree, which journeyed around the Moon, will be planted by Brianna Morales, a junior passionate about astrophysics and plant science. This ceremony marks the beginning of her senior project, merging her interests in space and botany.
Let’s come together to celebrate this momentous occasion and witness a piece of space history take root in our town. This Moon Tree will serve AFSD students of all grade levels to spark creativity, inspiration, and discovery for years to come.

SOTF Members perform to great success at State Solo and Ensemble 2024!!!
Two weekends ago 11 members of the SOTF band traveled to Post Falls High School and competed at the State Solo and Ensemble competition. The competition has everyone regardless of high school size, 1A - 5A ,compete against one another. The band is excited to announce that our Trumpet Choir performed superbly and brought home the 2nd place hardware back to AF after barely missing out on first place to Centennial High School. Our Woodwind Quintet rocked the stage and took an exciting 4th place and Shaylee Taylor in the Flute solo category was a top 10 finisher in a very tough category. Congrats to our band members on representing AFHS!
