⚽ Varsity Boys Soccer – Postgame Reflection
The final whistle just blew, and while the scoreboard didn’t swing our way, the boys left everything on the field. Thanks to all the fans and parents that showed their support. It was a game full of highs and lows, grit and hustle, and moments that showed real growth. From sharp passes to relentless defense, they played with heart and unity. Proud of the effort, proud of the fight—this team continues to rise, no matter the result.

The Summer Meal Program is here to help this summer!
We are serving meals Monday-Thursday at William Thomas Middle School from 11:30 to 12:15 and at Yard Meadows Park from 12:30-1:00 pm. Children 1-18 eat for Free! Children must be present to pick up a meal. No exceptions may be made. Your child will receive some frozen food items, as well as some food products that require refrigeration. These items are perishable and will go bad if not stored properly. Please go through your children's lunch and weekend meals to ensure that these items are placed immediately in either a refrigerator or freezer.
Food Safety is Important!
- The milk and juice that is being served in the summer meal program is shelf stable and does not require refrigeration.
- Yogurt, cheese sticks, cream cheese packets, and fresh fruit should be stored in the refrigerator. If a cooked item is not eaten immediately it should be stored in the refrigerator. Unsealed food should be discarded within four days of receiving it.
- Frozen food items will be sent out on Thursday afternoons, for use over the weekend. Please place these items in the freezer immediately to ensure food safety.
Cooking Instructions
All frozen foods may be prepared in the microwave or oven.
Microwave cooking: place on a microwave-safe plate, cook covered for 1-2 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
Oven Cooking: preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place food on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake uncovered for 11-13 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
Please cook foods for younger children, or provide adult supervision to more independent kids.

Free Meals to all children 1-18 years of age.
The American Falls School District Child Nutrition Program is excited to announce our Summer Lunch Program. This year our district has the opportunity to operate the Summer Lunch Program under some new regulations. We are able to provide multiple meals at one pick up. Meals will be served Monday-Thursday. Children will no longer have to remain in the meal pick up area to eat their lunch.
Children must be present to pick up their meals. We are unable to provide more than one set of meals to a child, or have parents/guardians pick up meals without a child present. We are happy to serve children in daycares or participating in summer camps. However, all children must be in attendance to pick up their own meals.
Meals will be distributed Monday-Thursday June 9th to July 31st at William Thomas Middle School and Vard Meadows Park.
