Cross Country season is almost here! Practice starts Monday - August 12th - at 7pm at the middle school track. Students grades 6-12 are welcome to join the team. Middle school races are 1.5 miles and high school races are 3 miles. Hope to see you there!

Free Concert Alert!!!! Your American Falls City Summer Band 2024 will be doing their annual AF Days Concert in the Park @ 12pm under the Music in the Park Pavilion. Grab your camping chairs and come listen to a great hour of music.
The American Falls City Summer 2024 under the direction of Mr. Brian Leisher and Mr. Robbie Hanchey is proud to present the "Party Like It's 99" AF Days concert. The concert is free and will take place at Noon under the Music In The Parks Pavilion on Saturday, August 3rd. The band this year is made of regional music teachers, AF alumni, community members and current AF band students. This year's concert will feature exciting music ranging from hit 90's tunes like Radiohead's "Creep", the Disney movie "Tarzan" which came out in 1999 and other great features that the audience will recognize. An interesting fact of trivia for the concert, the band will be playing the tune "Sweet Georgia Brown", which was a #1 hit on the radio when it premiered exactly 99 years ago.

We are so excited to invite and have you out for the SOTF Fall Marching Camp 2024!!!! Come out and experience one of the funniest activities a student can participate in during High School. (We also love having Middle School students come out). Our marching show theme this year is "Latin Nights" - Celebrating the Music of Mexico's famous guitar player Carols Santana.
The student leadership team has been working hard to come up with fun theme days and fun game activities while we learn more about Marching Band.

Kick off the start of the summer by joining us for our first ever mini marching band camp. Cost is free and you will receive next years music for the show, review the exciting fundamentals of marching band, meet members of the leadership team and receive summer workout information to stay in shape all summer long.
Coach Hoppe, some of the AFHS football team, and cheerleaders came to deliver football recruitment letters to our outgoing 8th grade boys. We can't wait to watch you all play some high school football this fall!!
We would love to invite you out tonight at 7pm for our Rock Band Concert and Senior night. We will be celebrating 5 seniors as well as jamming out to some awesome tunes. Red Gates set list will include music from artists such as: Taylor Swift, the Doobie Brothers, Weezer, the Weekend, the Beatles, Dolly Parton, Billy Idol, Avril Lavigne and much more.

Tonight the Art and Music Department will be celebrating the end of the year with the 2024 AFHS Arts Showcase. The AFHS Art Show will start at 6pm in the Commons with the SOTF Pops Concert Starting at 7pm in the Auditorium. It is also our Concert Band Senior Night and will even feature two seniors who starting in 6th grade, have completed 21 trimesters of band. We will also be handing out the coveted Mr. and Ms. Spirit of the Falls Award to our top seniors. The set list for the evening will include the jazz big band accompanying two different vocal soloists, the exciting sounds of a whitewater adventure, the thrilling allure of the"Paso Doble" dance and much much more. Come out for this free event happening tonight.
We sure had fun on our 4th grade fishing trip yesterday. A special thank you to Mr. Morris for coordinating this special event.🎣
