Our middle school team was also in action yesterday with 11 runners setting new personal records! Great work by all of our runners!
Homecoming for AFHS is arriving quickly for the 2023-24 school year and will be August 28th through September 1st. The high school is encouraging all parents and guardians to attend classes on Thursday, August 31st, and participate in activities with their students to celebrate the 2023 Homecoming Week. Throwback Thursday will be on Thursday, August 31st from 8 AM-12 PM. Guests will begin their day in the AFHS gym with a welcome and will be released to their student’s first-period class. Classes are shortened and students will be released at noon for the homecoming parade. Siblings are welcome to attend as well. Chairs will be available outside of classrooms if parents/guardians need to care for young siblings, make phone calls, or just step out of the classroom. Only recent graduates under 25 years of age are not permitted to attend. We hope you will consider experiencing high school once more and see what your students learn in their classes. It is also a great opportunity to meet your student’s teachers!

Throughout the year, we will be showing you how utilize your parent account for more than just filling forms. American Falls School District is once again supplying all students with school supplies for the year. Today is supply pick up day for teachers. Thank you to all the students and volunteers for sorting and organizing everything for our teachers.
Don't forget to go to PowerSchool to fill out this year's back-to-school paperwork. District staff are happy to assist you in the process. We have computers available at the district office during regular hours on Aug 10th and 11th. If your parent account has not been set up or you need help with your password, email spencerc@sd381.k12.id.us.

Back-to-School paperwork can be found online! Log into PowerSchool using your parent account. Once logged in, click on forms on the left-hand side of the page. There you should all forms associated with your students.
Online forms are taking the place of most paper forms handed out on the first day of school. Please complete prior to the start of school.

The American Falls School District proudly supports the performing arts in our schools and community. Congratulations to the American Falls City Summer Band 2023 on an outstanding concert this past Saturday at American Falls Day and Congratulations also to the Spirit of the Falls Marching Band on a successful marching camp. Get your running shoes ready! 🏃♂️🏃♀️ Cross country practice kicks off this Monday, August 7th at 7pm and we're excited to welcome students from grades 6-12. Practice will be at the William Thomas Middle School track. It's a wonderful opportunity to stay fit, make friends, and develop endurance. It's also free to participate!

The SOTF music department is so excited for our fall marching camp 2023. This will be an exciting opportunity for your student to bring "The Greatest Showman" show to life in the marching band. We are having a fall sports meeting July 25th in the commons 6pm start. During that time our school athletic trainer will talk, as well as receiving instructions for physicals and dragonfly sign up. When we are done, coaches will meet with their teams to discuss the upcoming season along with expectations. FYI, our girls soccer coach will be out of town on a scouting outing.
