The Fired Up after school program visited businesses around American Falls today to thank everybody who has been working hard to keep our community going. We are all so grateful for the opportunity to show our appreciation!

Fourth graders in the FIRED UP After School Program worked through a STEM activity with toothpicks and gumdrops to see who could build the tallest structure with what they were given.

Ms. Morris's 8th grade 4th hour ELA class enjoyed a taco party as a reward for reading the most books out of all 5 ELA classes in the month of March!





Third graders in the FIRED UP After School program surprised their student aide Ashley Roa with a birthday banner and treats.

Students in Mr. Doug Good's government classes gathered to discuss and debate a variety of issues to see which one they should lobby for. Based on their discussions, they selected an issue to continue researching for further debate. A few of the issues were: the COVID 19 response, national debt, federal educational mandates, and limitations on gun ownership.

Students in the FIRED UP Afterschool Program at J.R. Simplot Elementary put gloves on and grabbed garbage bags to clean up the JRSE campus on Wednesday, April 20.

Attention All Fifth Graders: This Wednesday the Spirit of the Falls Band will be coming to JRSE to showcase their talents and share with you the fun of being in band.🎸🥁🎷


The Easter Egg Parachute Challenge in the Lil' Beaver STEM Lab at Hillcrest
Kindergarteners built Easter Egg Parachutes with popsicle sticks, wide straws, skinny straws and spoons. They voted on which parachute would land the fastest and then discussed why. They then tested their designs.
