Students in Mr. Doug Good's government classes gathered to discuss and debate a variety of issues to see which one they should lobby for. Based on their discussions, they selected an issue to continue researching for further debate. A few of the issues were: the COVID 19 response, national debt, federal educational mandates, and limitations on gun ownership.

The Easter Egg Parachute Challenge in the Lil' Beaver STEM Lab at Hillcrest Kindergarteners built Easter Egg Parachutes with popsicle sticks, wide straws, skinny straws and spoons. They voted on which parachute would land the fastest and then discussed why. They then tested their designs.
