Congratulations American Falls Teacher Nathan Lammers receives the State of Idaho Technology Teacher of the Year! Nathan received the award at the Idaho Education Technology Association Conference today.

Boys Basketball v Filer has been cancelled due to a scheduling error by Filer. We will play Senior Night this Thursday at 7pm (2/9) instead with Skyline.

Mariachi Day!!! - Saturday 2/4/23 @AFHS band room. (6-12th grade students - cost is free)
Mr. Rivera Mariachi & Folklorico Workshop (Mr. Rivera is the Washington Music Educator of the Year and is one of the premiere Latin Performing Arts Teachers in the United States!!!!
All interested 6-12th grade students are welcome to attend the dance Folklorico sessions and the instrumental sessions. Please make sure to bring your instruments. We are also looking for some SINGERS, I can get you the songs so you can start practicing singing. Dancers who have traditional dance costumes can bring those for the practice and performance also. Everyone else can wear your SOTF Band Swag or AF sway.
Attention District Staff: - Senor Ramon Rivera will be doing a special presentation for you at 4pm, "Reaching Latino Students in Your Classroom", afterwards there will be a dinner and performances featuring what our students learned during the earlier workshops.

Due to the severe temperatures forecasted in American Falls and surrounding areas, all schools within the American Falls School District will be closed on Tuesday, January 31st. The National Weather Service has extended a severe weather alert, with a wind chill warning in effect through 10AM on Tuesday. Out of an abundance of caution for the safety of students during early morning pickup and drop-off times, as well as those who walk or wait at bus stops, the decision was made to close schools. The weather is expected to improve on Wednesday, so please dress warm and plan on attending school
Congratulations to the American Falls Cheer team as they are the GRAND CHAMPIONS for 3A District 5. The team won all 4 categories at the competition today!
Congratulations to the AF Highlights for finishing first overall at the district competition today! They finished first in Military, Kick and Dance. They finished second in Hip Hop. They will represent American Falls at state in all four categories!
Girls Basketball was in action tonight at Marsh Valley. C team won in double overtime 35-30. JV won 52-31. Varsity lost a close one, 38-36.
