The Tobacco Cessations Class at the school district office is cancelled tonight due to weather.

Monday, March 3rd, at 3:45 (right after school) Seth Lusk will be teaching students about the trade of plumbing! He will be going over how he got into the trade , what trade school he went to, and a plumbing activity. We will be meeting at the American Falls Ag Building/Shop. Congratulations to Nathan Lammers and JR Simplot Elementary School. They were just awarded a grant for $1,995 to be used for 3D printers and supplies from the Idaho Educational Technology Association today at their annual conference in Boise.

The AFHS cheer and dance teams preformed in front of Hillcrest and JRSE students today. They were an excellent crowd with tons of energy and enthusiasm.




There is a baking class offered Monday Feb. 3, 2025 by Robyn Adkins. Students will learn about the business and trade side of baking as well as learning a few baking tricks. It will be in the Home-ec room at the high school from 6:00-7:30. Reach out to charlies@sd381.k12.id.us if you have a student who wants to come!

Join us at the high school tomorrow night (January 23) for Pathways to Success night. This open house style event is a great opportunity to learn about the diverse career technical & academic pathways offered at AFHS. The event is tailored towards future AFHS students and their parents, but all are welcome. Participants will be given FREE admission to the girls' basketball game that night. This year, participants will enter the high school through the main entrance.

American Falls FFA invites you to Serenity in Bloom, a free workshop series blending mindfulness with the Japanese art of ikebana floral design. The Idaho Department of Labor will not be here December 24 & 31 due to the Christmas Break. They will be back Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the School District Office room 4.

The ISU Adult Education Center at the school district office will be closed, and the GED and ESL classes will be cancelled for Christmas Break from December 23 - January 3. Everything will resume the week of January 6, 2025. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

The Sources of Strength Kindness Tree is up in the cafeteria for everyone to enjoy and partake. Students and staff are encouraged to take a paper ornament from the tree, which has a message of love and inspiration, and gift it to another.
