Staff and students, join Mrs. Stilwell in the art room after school on Wednesday May 6th to draw and/or paint this lovely turtle. You can signnup in the office, or email Mrs. Stilwell if you would like to attend.

This year, our school started teaching woodworking classes again. Students learned how to measure, cut, and fasten wood pieces. The skills they learned are showcased in featured planter boxes that will be sold during the upcoming greenhouse sale! As student progress through the program, we hope to equip them with skills that will help them obtain work in the construction industry. Keep an eye out for future projects!

The Spirit of the Falls Music Department is excited to announce the "Going to Disney Spring Concert 2026" on Wednesday March 18th at 7pm in the American Falls Performing Arts Auditorium. Family friendly and the cost is free. This concert will feature the exciting sounds of all 3 of the bands in the program including the 6th Grade Beg. Band, the 7/8th grade intermediate Band and the SOTF High School Wind Ensemble. This year's concert will be extra special because the band has been selected to represent Idaho and perform on the big stage at Disneyland and they will be playing the songs from their California performance for the home crowd. So make sure to mark your calendar for a fun evening of great music!

The final Junior Miss Hopeful Program will be held March 14, 2026. We have had an amazing 15 years of fun. This is your last chance to participate in this fun-filled program that promotes community service and self- confidence.

The last day to sign up will be at the first practice on Friday, March 6, 2026 at the JRSE Gymnasium.

Info and applications went home in both of the Elementary Schools. You can also pick one up at JR Simplot Elementary school or by the posters in both WTMS and AFHS.

I love watching my Glass Works kids making their painted glass and stained glass projects! They are becoming masters of their equipment and tools 🙂

We had a great time painting Wednesday night. Some even got wild and not only used their own color scheme but created their own image 😃

ISEE STEM and Idaho State University are hosting the STEM UP event for all students grades K-5 and their families. It will be Wednesday, March 4 from 5:00–6:30 PM at the ICCU Dome. It is sure to be a fun and exciting evening of events with lots of activities and projects!

Our community received a welcome boost today when Charley Jones of Idaho Power stopped by J.R. Simplot Elementary to deliver a $300 donation supporting our food pantry. This generous gift will go directly toward helping local families. We are deeply grateful to Idaho Power for their kindness and for consistently investing in the well-being of our community. We are blessed to live in an area where businesses step up to make a meaningful difference.
