The AFHS Speech and Debate team hosted the District V Speech and Debate tournaments on February 25 and 26 and experienced great success! Qualifying for state debate in Public Forum Debate were Eva Cardona, Jolene Chavez, Avery Beasley, and Evan Gallegos. Jase Bradley also qualified in Congressional Debate. Alternates to state are Eva Cardona and Avery Beasley in Duo Interpretation, Skyelar Gonzalez in Original Oratory, Zahir Manilla in Congressional Debate, and Kaylee Guinn, Adam Hanini, Christian Hegstrom, and Sayde Porath in Public Forum Debate.
