Throwback Thursday Flyer

American Falls High School is proud to celebrate its 4th Annual Throwback Thursday on Thursday, September 25, as part of Homecoming Week festivities. This special event invites parents—and other important guests—to step back into high school life and experience the day alongside their students.

The day begins with an optional breakfast in the commons from 7:45–8:15 a.m. where they will be serving breakfast burritos (the cost for adults to eat is only $3), followed by the start of classes at 8:20 a.m. Guests can spend the full day on campus, or simply join their student for one or two classes—the experience is completely flexible. The class schedule for the day is as follows:

  • Breakfast: 7:45-8:15

  • TA: 8:19-8:25

  • 1st Hr: 8:29-8:55

  • 2nd Hr: 8:59-9:25

  • 3rd Hr: 9:29-9:55

  • 4th Hr: 9:59-10:25

  • 5th Hr: 10:29-10:55

  • 6th Hr: 10:59-11:25

  • 11:25-Dismissal for lunch and get ready for the parade!

To make the event even more exciting, all participants will be entered into drawings for prizes, including season passes, floral arrangements made by our FFA students, and AFHS swag.

If a parent cannot attend, students are welcome to invite another special person in their life such as a grandparent, aunt, uncle, close friend, or sibling. The only restriction is that recent graduates under the age of 24 are not eligible to participate.

American Falls High School invites all families to join in this memorable tradition, share in a day of learning and laughter, and maybe even take home some Beaver swag. Guests are also encouraged to attend the Homecoming Parade starting at 1:00 p.m.
