WTMS parents: today is the first day for our new Wednesday folders! Your child will bring them home to you Wednesday nights, then they need to return them to their homeroom teacher on Thursday mornings. Starting next week, there will also be a grade report for you to sign. Thank you in advance for supporting this new aspect of our communication plan!

WTMS parents: tomorrow's open house is cancelled because we need to clean up some of the minor flooding we sustained during today's storm. The first day of school is still Monday, and now parents are invited to an open house/orientation Monday morning from 8:00-9:00. We are excited to see you and your kids then!

Get your running shoes ready! 🏃♂️🏃♀️ Cross country practice kicks off this Monday, August 7th at 7pm and we're excited to welcome students from grades 6-12. Practice will be at the William Thomas Middle School track. It's a wonderful opportunity to stay fit, make friends, and develop endurance. It's also free to participate!
No matter your experience level, everyone is welcome to join. Have questions or need more info? Feel free to contact Coach Jaxon Jensen at 208-317-3142. Let's make this season a memorable one!

Don't forget 6th grade is going to the Museum of Idaho tomorrow. They will need a sack lunch.
We would like to give a huge shout out and thanks to Cory Greenwood who came out to speak to a few schools today. His message was powerful, yet simple: Your story matters.

WTMS parents: please remind your students to bring their Chromebook, charger, and case with them today so they can turn them in to their homeroom teacher.
The buses coming back from Boise are running a little late. We should be pulling into the school between 7:45-8:00.
The 8th grade had a fun-filled day in Boise. We started off by touring the Capitol building where we were able to go into Governor Little's office and the House Chambers. Then we headed to the Anne Frank Memorial to learn more about her and human rights. From there we went to the Boise Zoo and got to see some cool animals. We ended the day at the Old Idaho Penitentiary and learned some interesting facts about Idaho's first prison. Thank you to all students, staff, and parents for such an amazing day.
