This week we recognized our April and May students of the month. Congratulations to all of these amazing students!



The 8th grade Science Fair was held today. Once again, it was a huge success!! Thank you to all that came and supported these hardworking students.

The event is free and family friendly.

The 8th graders had a great day in Boise at the capital, Boise State University, and the zoo.










This week's Reality Town event for our 7th graders was a huge success. The kids had tons of fun and learned a lot about "adulting." Thank you so much to Mrs. Held and the 7th grade team for all of their planning and hard work. We also truly appreciate all of the community members who generously donated their time and expertise!










We would like to cordially event you to an exciting evening of celebrating the arts in American Falls. The annual arts showcase will be next Wednesday, May 21st. The AFHS ART Show will begin at 6pm in the AFHS Commons, followed by the SOTF Band Pops Concert, "When Music Takes Flight", starting at 7pm in the AFHS Auditorium.
The Art Show will showcase students' work across all mediums taught at the high school including Digital Art, Glassworks, Pottery, Painting, Photography, Graphic Design and Drawing.
The Pops concert will feature the exciting Jazz Big Band, the WTMS 6th grade Beginning Band, WTMS 7/8th grade Concert Band and the award winning SOTF Wind Ensemble. Song selections will feature the exciting music of Star Wars, Hamilton the Musical, How To Train Your Dragon, the Beatles and much more. We will also be celebrating our 7 year band seniors Avery Beasley & Emma Carter and handing out the annual "Bammie" Awards.

Our track team wrapped up their season on Friday with some awesome performances at the district meet in Bear Lake! Congrats to all the athletes on an amazing season, and thanks to Coach Beyler, Coach Tidwell, and Coach McGraw for all their hard work.






We would like to thank Lieutenant Daniels of the Pocatello Police Department for taking the time to come show a group of 8th grade students how a computer voice stress analyzer works and for helping them actually conduct a test on a few staff and students in preparation for their upcoming Science Fair. The firsthand experience was definitely a great opportunity for our students.


Our track team has been in action for a few weeks, working hard and getting better. Some of the team qualified for an invite-only meet in Preston today and they all did amazing!

Pride Week continued today with Fan Pride. We celebrated our interests and passions for sports, music, gaming, and so much more. Unique fandom is one of the reasons why our students are so amazing and unique!










Pride Week continued today with Twinning Tuesday and celebrating friendship. There was also one of the very best WTMS karaoke contests ever. After today's activities, 7th grade has taken the lead in the week-long pride contest!










Pride Week 2025 started strong today as we celebrated our Roots Pride. We had a great time honoring our cultures and families. The trivia contest was hotly contested, and after one day of friendly competition, the 8th grade has a small lead. We can't wait to celebrate our friends tomorrow on Twinning Tuesday!










The Spirit of the Falls Bands are excited to announce their Spring Concert 2025. The concert will be on Wednesday March 19th, @7pm in the AFHS Performing Arts Center. Featured at this concert will be the Beg. 6th grade band, the WTMS 7/8th Grade Concert Band and the award winning SOTF Wind Ensemble.
This concerts music selections will range everywhere from Beethoven's Ode to Joy to Argentinian Tango Music. Come out for an hour of great music before Spring Break kicks off.

Our 7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams concluded their seasons this week with two home wins each and some great efforts at the district tournament this weekend. Great job this season, boys!










We celebrated our February students of the month this week. Congratulations to all of these amazing students!


Here are our 2nd tri intramural champions in 3-on-3 basketball, indoor soccer, and dodgeball. Big shoutout to Mr. Romero for bringing intramurals back to WTMS this year!



A group of 6th - 8th grade students spent part of the day on the campus of Idaho State University, where they participated in Bengal STEM Day. Charlie Rudeen and Cristian Ramirez won 3rd place in a Catapult building competition, and Addie Bennett won 2nd place in Rollercoaster build. Congratulations to these 3!

Attention American Falls!!!
The Spirit of the Falls Music Program is excited to announce our Winter 2025 Rock Concert. The concert will be today, Tuesday, Feb. 18th, in the band room starting at 7pm. The Concert is free and will be a super great time. The concert will feature our Ukulele Ensemble in collaboration with this year's talent show winners the SOTF Guitar ensemble. They will be performing music from the likes of Selena, ClearWater Creedence Revival, John Denver, Elvis Presley, DJ Oski, Jimmy Eat World and many more. Come out for a great hour of music and blow off some steam before finals and Parent Teacher Conferences.
