Cross Country season starts tomorrow! Anyone in grades 6-12 who is interested is welcome to join the team. The first practice is Monday - August 9th from 7-8pm at the Middle School track. We will practice at that time the rest of the week. Hope to see you there!

❗️INCOMING FRESHMEN ❗️ 👉 It’s time to prep for your first day of high school! 🦫 • Please join your AFHS Student Council for orientation on August 20th at 1:00 PM at the high school. This is a chance for parents and incoming freshmen students to see the school and meet the teachers before school starts. 🙌 Orientation is not required, but it is highly encouraged for you to attend if possible. We hope to see you there! ☺️

📣 CALLING ALL INCOMING AFHS SENIORS! 👋 🚘 It’s time to reserve your parking space for the 26-27 school year! StuCo has gone digital this year! So all you need to do is fill out the form linked in the QR code. This form will also be sent to all senior student school email addresses as soon as we get the ok from the office. 😎 👇 Need to Know 👇 • Fill out the form by 4:00 PM on Thursday, August 6th. • Make sure you have your design ready to upload to the form for approval. NO PAINTING UNTIL APPROVED. • All spots are first come, first serve and must be DRY by August 14th. • You don’t pay for the spot - you pay for all paint & supplies. • There will be NO student spots in the back parking lot this year. • Keep an eye on your student email inbox all year long for important class updates and info! • You can also follow your class on Instagram to stay up to date. 🏃‍♂️ STATE TRACK SUCCESS! What a weekend at State Track — 11 of our athletes competing and representing Beaver Pride with heart and grit! The highlight: Evan Munden taking 6th overall in the 300m hurdles — an incredible finish against the best in Idaho! Every athlete who stepped on the track this season showed commitment, teamwork, and growth. Congrats to all who competed — we’re proud of what you’ve accomplished this year! 🖤💛

Lights, camera, Nashville! Our students took the stage at the Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference in Nashville and represented our school in a huge way! 🎶✨🏆

Out of 285 competitors in the Virtual Photography event, one of our talented photography students, Valerie Rios Sanchez became a National Finalist and earned an incredible 11th Place finish in the National Showcase! 📷 Another outstanding competitor, Eric Hernandez, placed 39th nationally, proving that creativity, hard work, and dedication can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the best in the country.

Adam Christian was also a state finalist in Java Programming and traveled to nationals to compete in one of the toughest tech events on the national stage 💻

Beyond the competition, our students explored the energy and history of Nashville, visited the legendary Grand Ole Opry, and made memories that will last long after the trophies and rankings. From late-night laughs to big-stage moments, this trip was packed with learning, teamwork, and unforgettable experiences.

We are incredibly proud of all of our BPA competitors for representing our school with professionalism, talent, and heart. National level competition is no small feat, and these students absolutely rose to the occasion. We could not be more proud!!

Great first day of districts— and we’re just getting started. Our athletes came out firing, and we already have 7 qualifiers punched for State with more lining up to earn their spot tomorrow. The work, the grit, the belief… it’s showing. “Track doesn’t build character — it reveals it.” Proud of this group and the way they compete for each other. Day 2, let’s go.

Beavers Softball left everything on the field in a hard‑fought battle against Snake River, coming up just short in districts and bringing an incredible season to a close. This group grew, competed, and leaned on each other every step of the way. The teamwork, the grit, the joy — it’s been a fun group to watch all year. ❤️🖤🥎 “Champions aren’t defined by the trophies they hold, but by the heart they show.” Heads high. Memories made. In the first round of the district tournament the girls played tough but came up short against Bear Lake 2-6. They play again on Tuesday in Preston at 1:30 against Snake River.

Beavers Baseball closes the book on the 25-26 season filled with highs, lows, grit, and real growth. The boys battled to the very end, just falling short to Snake River in the district tournament. Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it. This group learned, competed, and kept showing up for each other every single day. ❤️🖤⚾️ “Success isn’t always measured by the final score, but by the growth it took to get there.”

The baseball district tournament started today in Marsh Valley. The boys came up short and head back tomorrow to take on Bear Lake at 1:30.
