Softball girls left everything on the field in game three — a tight, gritty battle that slipped away at the end. These are the kinds of games that shape a team, sharpen the edge, and teach the lessons you can’t get from a blowout win. Grit. Grind. Growth. We learn from our losses, and this group has the heart to bounce right back. “Tough losses don’t define you — they prepare you.” Proud of the fight. Ready for the response.

Game two delivered exactly what this group is made of — toughness, composure, and that “we’re not done yet” energy. Lady Beavers take down Ririe 9–5 and punch their ticket deeper into the tournament. These girls are rolling, and honestly, the only thing that can slow them down is themselves. “Championship teams aren’t built on talent alone — they’re built on belief, grit, and the refusal to back down.” Let’s keep this momentum rolling.

Lady Beavers Softball 🥎🔥 Tournament opener = statement made. American Falls rolls past Soda Springs 18–2, powered by bombs from Lexis Aguirre and Hailey Kress. This group came ready to swing and set the tone for the weekend. “Strong starts don’t happen by accident — they’re built on preparation and belief.” Proud of the way they showed up today. Let’s keep it rolling.

Beavers Baseball battled against Marsh Valley and came up just short, but the story isn’t the scoreboard. There were flashes of brilliance, big‑time plays, and moments that showed exactly what this group is becoming. The foundation is getting stronger, the belief is growing, and Beaver Baseball is building something real. ❤️🖤⚾️ “You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.”

Students in Mr. Kindalls electricity class are giving a helping hand to the animal science courses by building storage cabinets for the Haven Barn project. A long-term project that began as the senior projects of Makenzie Smith and Wyatt Hunt. This summer and fall will be the first year that students will have the opportunity to raise an animal on school campus for the Power County Fair. The final facility updates are underway and we're excited to provide this one of a kind opportunity to students.

Beavers Baseball took the field for Senior Night, celebrating Kaden N. and Jose R. for their commitment and contributions to this program. The boys battled with heart all game, ultimately coming up short on the scoreboard. One thing’s for sure — this team’s fight isn’t going anywhere. “You don’t always get the breaks, but you always give the effort.” — Joe DiMaggio

34° changes practice plans for golf. ⛳️ Last week, on a cold day, the golf team focused on mindset— a positive attitude can make or break 18 holes! Each player created a slogan ball marker as a reminder to focus forward. Intention is everything! #BeaverStrong #MindsetMatters #AFGolf

It’s been a busy week for American Falls Golf! ⛳️ Our JV team kicked things off with their first tournament on Monday in Lava Hot Springs, followed by our Varsity competing there on Wednesday. We wrapped up the week by hosting district teams today at our beautiful home course, American Falls Golf Course! A huge shoutout and THANK YOU to our local course for being such an incredible gem in Southeast Idaho. We’re so grateful for the support and the opportunity to play and host on such a quality course. Our golfers continue to grow—improving both their skills and their mental game each time they step on the course. Proud of this group and excited for what’s ahead! 🦫

Tough night for Beaver Softball and Beaver Baseball as both squads battled hard against Bear Lake but came up just short on the scoreboard. The effort, the grit, the heart—it was all there. These are the kinds of games that shape a season and sharpen a team. “Every strike, every swing, every inning is a chance to grow.” Proud of the fight. Proud of the progress. The bounce‑back is coming. 🖤❤️

Students who enjoy hands‑on work and creating something solid and lasting may thrive in welding. Welders use precision, skill, and technical knowledge to build and repair metal structures across industries like construction, manufacturing, and transportation. It’s a high‑demand career where craftsmanship truly matters.

Median Income - $48,370 (while initially low, many welders earn higher salaries after specializing in a specific type of welding)

If you are ready to craft, take Intro to Mechanics, Welding 210, Welding 211, and Fabrication.

A whole lot of baseball today for the Beaver Boys, grinding through a doubleheader against North Fremont. Tons learned, real growth, and a team that keeps getting better every inning. Just came up short on the scoreboard, but not in heart. ❤️🖤⚾️ “You just can’t beat the person who never gives up.” — Babe Ruth This group keeps showing up, keeps fighting, and keeps climbing. The wins will follow. 💪🔥
