🏀 AFHS Girls Basketball
What an amazing experience today as our girls battled South Fremont. We fell short on the scoreboard. However, the energy, the effort, the way they played for each other—it all showed what this group is becoming. Proud of how they represented our community on and off the court.
“Great teams aren’t built on talent alone—they’re built on trust, effort, and playing for each other.”
❤️🖤 Beaver Pride. Every. Single. Day.

AFHS Boys Wrestling 🤼♂️ Your Beavers didn’t just compete this weekend —they out‑worked, out‑hustled, and out‑hearted everyone in the gym, bringing home the Bonneville Dual Championship. This crew is built on brotherhood, sweat, and the kind of grind most people never see. Every point earned. Every match fought for each other. Way to go boys. To our American Falls High School students and the American Falls community,
We are truly fortunate to live in such a caring, supportive, and close-knit town. American Falls is a special place because of the people who show up for one another, support our schools, and take pride in our students every single day.
To our students—thank you for bringing energy, kindness, and heart into our school. We love having you here, and we are proud of who you are and who you are becoming.
Wishing all of you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays 🤶 May this season be filled with rest, joy, laughter, and time with the people you love.

Students in Introduction to Ag Mechanics have been learning about precision and accuracy in work projects. To do this, they designed a ruler in Canva that includes fractional inches, decimal inches, a metal gauge, and a wire gauge. The designs are then engraved on acrylic and the students use the tool throughout the trimester. The accuracy of their design is important for the accuracy of their projects for the rest of the class. While it can be tedious, students learn a lot about the importance of accurate measurements and how to read measuring devices.

AFHS has a stand out agriculture program thanks to the leadership provided by the teachers of that program. This week, at the National Association of Agricultural Educators conference, two of our ag teachers were recognized with national awards for their outstanding work in agriculture education in American Falls and various levels at which they volunteer. Mr. Marc Beitia was honored as an Outstanding Service Award recipient. Mr. Bret Kindall was recognized as an Outstanding Early Career Teacher. Both were recognized as one of 6 recipients nationwide in their categories. Congratulations to them both!
