Please help us welcome our new Athletic Director/Vice Principal to AFHS! Zach Barclay: Mr. Barclay previously taught at Vallivue High School in Caldwell, Idaho where he was an English teacher from 2009-2018 and was VHS' teacher of the year for the 2017-2018 year. In 2018-2019, he was Parma's Athletic Director where he was a finalist for 3A Athletic Director of the year. From 2019-2021, he was in charge of the Vallivue High School AVID program where he helped first generation college going students gain over $4 million dollars in scholarships. He has coached both football and track & field at the high school level. Most recently, he coached for the College of Idaho where he was the 2020-2021 NAIA Indoor Track and Field Assistant Coach of the Year for the Western Region. During his time there, he was tasked with starting a dormant throws program that last competed in 1976. He has coached six All-Americans and 30+ national qualifiers. Barclay received his Bachelors in English Education from NNU; MA in Coaching from Ball State University; Educational Specialist in Educational Administration through the University of Idaho. He is married to Cassie Barclay and has two boys, Breckin and Corbin. A proud welcome to the Barclay family!!

Attention all SOTF 7-12th grade band students and parents!!! We are Super Excited for our Fall Band Camp coming this next week. This camp is open to all band students going into 7th grade and higher. It is a wonderful experience and a great time with friends. Band Camp Info: Cost: Free Where: WTMS Band Room/Outside When: Monday Aug. 2nd - Friday Aug. 6th Time: 9am - 4pm, lunch break 12 - 12:50pm (sign in at 8:30am on Monday and Tuesday) What to Bring: Cold water, instrument (school owned ones will be there), sun screen, Hat, athletic shoes and athletic breathable clothing. Come learn the fundamentals of marching band and perform in the Homecoming Halftime Show in September "Americana". For those not marching, we are having music only time after lunch. We are super excited to have the AFHS 2021 fall Girls Soccer season coming upon us and are ready to start getting to work. Two-a-day tryouts will be on August 9-13th at 6-8am AND at 7-9pm. After tryouts are done, we will be having a team-building camp out at the end of the week. All skill levels of girls are invited to come tryout! Can’t wait to see you all there! Questions??? AFHS Volleyball camp is this next Monday-Wednesday, July 19-21 from 9-3 at the high school. The cost is $60 for athletes in American Falls school district and $165 for out-of-district athletes. (Thank you Power of Pride!!) The middle school camp is Monday and Tuesday, July 19&20 from 3:30-5:30 at the high school (right after the high school camp). The cost is $25 for in-district and $60 for out-of-district. Payment can either be cash, check or Venmo Coach Jami @Jami-Adair. Checks should be made out to American Falls High School Volleyball.

AFHS FOOTBALL CAMP! Grades 9-12. July 19-21, @6pm at the practice field at AFHS. Full pads available for athletes to check out. A LIVE SCRIMMAGE will be on July 22nd at the Brulotte Football Field starting at 5pm. Contact Coach Hollingsworth for more details.

Our school schedule has been changed by the district. As of November 16th 2020, we will attend school full days Mondays thru Thursdays. This includes a FULL day on Wednesdays. On Fridays, students will NOT be coming into school.
