Baseball hosted Soda Springs today and fell to the Cardinals 4-14.

Spring is right around the corner, and things are already growing in the greenhouse. Students in Mr. Kindall's Greenhouse Management class have been busy starting seedlings and preparing for our annual Spring Plant Sale over Mother's Day weekend. Here's a quick behind-the-scenes look at what's to come.

Welders use precision, skill, and technical knowledge to build and repair metal structures across industries like construction, manufacturing, and transportation. It’s a high‑demand career where craftsmanship truly matters.

Median Income - $48,370 (while initially low, many welders earn higher salaries after specializing in a specific type of welding)

If you are ready to craft, take Intro to Mechanics, Welding 210, Welding 211, and Fabrication.

Baseball played hard but came up short in the doubleheader against Filer.

A whole lot of baseball today for the Beaver Boys, grinding through a doubleheader against North Fremont. Tons learned, real growth, and a team that keeps getting better every inning. Beavers Softball left it all on the field today. A true battle with Preston came down to a nail‑biter in the bottom of the 7th. Beaver Baseball is underway, and the boys battled hard in their first home game, coming up just short against Teton. The Spirit of the Falls Music Department is excited to announce the "Going to Disney Spring Concert 2026" on Wednesday March 18th at 7pm in the American Falls Performing Arts Auditorium. Family friendly and the cost is free. This concert will feature the exciting sounds of all 3 of the bands in the program including the 6th Grade Beg. Band, the 7/8th grade intermediate Band and the SOTF High School Wind Ensemble. This year's concert will be extra special because the band has been selected to represent Idaho and perform on the big stage at Disneyland and they will be playing the songs from their California performance for the home crowd. So make sure to mark your calendar for a fun evening of great music!

State BPA in Boise was a success!!!

All the students worked hard and are already talking about what we can improve on and do for next year. All students competed in either a test, presentation, or an open. There were also four students who interned at the competition and helped the state officers run the conference, learning leadership and communications skills.

BPA also went and visited the Capital Buiding and sat in on delegation and voting. It was a great experience all around. So proud of this team and the success that the American Falls BPA chapter has had all year. On to Nationals!! 🏆

Top Highlights:

🎉Valerie Rios Sanchez is a Top Ten finalist in V6 Photography and will be go to NATIONALS to show her work. She competed against the whole National in this event and will now be able to showcase her picture and have a chance to be voted Best in Show.

🎉Adam Christian was a top finalist in Java Script and has earned a spot to compete at NATIONALS!!! He placed 4th.

🎉Alan Torres was also a finalist in Human Resource Management. He was top 8 out of 25 students. This event is one of the hardest events to become a finalist in let alone place.
