
FFA students become the teachers at the annual 2nd grade AG safety fair.





Everyone is invited to attend the AFHS Art Show and the SOTF Band Pops Concert next week. The art show and concert is Wednesday night, May 25th, with the Art Show starting @ 6pm and the Pops Concert starting with the Jazz Big Band @ 7pm. Both events are at AFHS. Concert is free and all are welcome to attend. This will also be our senior night for our band seniors. Come out and enjoy great art and live music!!!!

Plant science students are engaging in some hands-on learning. They are prepping a small plot of land to build a cut flower garden. Grown flowers will be used to supply materials for the new Floral Design course offered this fall for students.




Derrick Leslie Memorial Scholarship Basketball Game Tuesday, May 24 at 7:00 in the High School gym. Come and support this great cause. One current track athlete will be awarded a $500 scholarship. Three sport athletes will be honored. “Golden A” recipients will be honored. Come and see the seniors take on the AFHS staff and Alumni. Admission: $3 minimum donation

There will be an Admissions Cost at the gate.
Day 1 and 2 Field Events start at 12:00pm with Track Events starting at 3pm
Participating Schools: 3A American Falls, Marsh Valley, Snake River
4A Century, Pocatello, Preston

Girls lose 12 to 2 to Snake and will play again at Marsh Valley at 1pm Monday.




Boys play Snake tough, but end up losing 5 to 2.




Baseball loses to Snake River 1-2 in the first round of the district tournament.

-Games will be played at the Snake River Softball Fields (Riverside Elementary)

Ninth and tenth grade students traveled to the College of Southern Idaho on Monday, May 2, to tour the campus and experience some of the different courses available to those who attend the two year college. The event was organized with the help and guidance of Jaxon Jensen.
