Baseball loses to Snake River.





The SOTF band students are excited to announce that yesterday at District 5 High School Large Ensemble Music festival in Snake River our 7-12th grade Wind Ensemble took the top spot with a #1 Superior Ranking and overall score of 94 out of 100. We were the only group to bring middle school students and the judges had amazing things to say about our kiddos. Thank you everyone for all your support and we hope to see at the "Pops concert" and High School Art Showcase on Wednesday May 25th.

Don't forget the baseball and softball games being played here in town! At 3:30pm, the Softball Team will be celebrating their seniors before the start of their double header!!!

Seniors at American Falls High School who had Ashley Matthews as their eighth grade English teacher were given letters they wrote to their future self. As eighth graders they included spare change, lunch cards, and other mementos to include in their envelope.



Track and Field competed today at ISU's Davis Field. We had some great marks even in the less than stellar weather.




Attention AFHS Parents and Students: All 9th and 10th grade students will be going on a college visit to CSI in Twin Falls on May 2nd. The buses will leave AFHS at 8am and will return by 3pm. Sack breakfast and lunch will be available for students from the lunchroom at the school to take with them on the trip.

Students in Mr. Doug Good's government classes gathered to discuss and debate a variety of issues to see which one they should lobby for. Based on their discussions, they selected an issue to continue researching for further debate. A few of the issues were: the COVID 19 response, national debt, federal educational mandates, and limitations on gun ownership.

Baseball loses a tight game to Malad last night 6 to 7. They play Marsh Valley starting at 4pm today in AF.

Softball wins huge in game one of their double header with Teton last night 19-8. In the second game, they hung on for a 15 to 12 win!!! Go Girls!!!
