Don’t Forget ♫Back to School Music Night♪ Please Plan on attending Music Night. Music Night is a night where we have a local music store come into the school and show the parents and students the options they have when looking for an guitar, ukuleles, band instruments and method books. The vendor will also have other supplies to sell that the student will need throughout the school year. Please refer to the Supplies section, to see what your student needs. This is where you can rent to own a guitar, ukulele, band instrument, get picks, capos, guitar book, strings, reeds, oil and more. Music night this year is scheduled for Friday, August 27th 2021, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm in the Band Room at William Thomas Middle School. Parent's Perception of the High School Athletic Trainer Dr Dani Moffit, the Program Director of the Athletic Training program at Idaho State University is conducting a study on parents of high school athletes. For questions or more information contact at moffdani@isu.edu. The purpose of this study is to investigate the perception parents have of the high school athletic trainer and what factors may contribute to the parents varying perception. We would greatly appreciate it if you could help us with this research and complete the survey on your smart phone device. The survey will consist of 20 questions. Your participation is expected to take no more than 10 minutes. The survey will consist of background questions and scale like questions asking to identify your knowledge of the athletic trainer. La percepción que los padres tienen a cerca del Entrenador Atlético de la escuela secundaria Dr. Dani Moffit es el director del programa de entrenamiento atlético en Idaho State University terminando su Maestría esta realizando un estudio sobre padres con niños en la secundaria. Para preguntas o más información contáctame vía vallrebe@isu.edu El propósito de este estudio es para investigar la percepción que los padres tienen a cerca del Entrenador Atlético (Athletic Trainer) de la escuela secundaria (high school) y que factores contribuyen para que los padres tengan percepción variable. Freshman orientation will be August 16th @ 9 am in the AFHS gym. It is not mandatory, but highly encouraged. There will be games, prizes, and treats! Students will get a tour of the school, as well as meet their TA teachers.

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) is extending free meals to all students through June 2022, regardless of household income. This means your child can get free school breakfast and lunch each day. Participating helps both families and our school. More participation means more kids eating nutritious foods and more funding for our school’s nutrition program.
