Finally, our choirs helped spread Christmas cheer by singing loud for all to hear.
Thanks Mr. Lowder and the AF Singers for a wonderful concert.
And that’s a wrap on 2021. Happy holidays to all and we’ll see you in the new year!

Next up, our 7th and 8th grade girls basketball teams finished up their seasons with the district tournament.
The 7th grade took 2nd place and the 8th grade finished in 3rd place.
Great seasons, girls, and thanks coaches and parents for helping them succeed.

‘Twas the week before Christmas break, and many Beaver students were busy.
First up on Wednesday, the Spirit of the Falls band had their annual Christmas Extravaganza, and once again it was amazing. Great job, Mr. Hanchey and all of your talented musicians!

Happy Holidays from the 8th grade team! We hope you all enjoy your winter break.

Buddy the Elf has been spotted making his way around William Thomas Middle School today. We wonder what fun shenanigans he'll get into today.

6th grade had so much fun collecting cans and donating them to the school food bank, that we have decided to hold a small fundraiser. Tomorrow afternoon students will be watching A Christmas Carol as follow up to their reading of the story in Reading, and the teachers will be providing a small concession stand for students to purchase juice and snacks! Remind them to come prepared with some change! Charity for donation will be selected after Christmas Break!

This Friday in the AFHS auditorium the 6-12 AF Singers will present their Christmas concert. They have prepared some wonderfully fresh arrangements of classic Christmas tunes. Come support these wonderful students!
“The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!”

Full power and phones have been restored at William Thomas Middle School. You should be able to call the school without issue. Thanks for your patience and understanding

The office at WTMS is currently without power and the phones are not working. If you are trying to call and cannot get through, they are working on the problem. You can email Mrs. Neibaur at anitran@sd381.k12.id.us. We will update you when power is restored.

"School district officials are aware of some recent threatening social media posts. The Power County Sheriff's Office and the AFPD were contacted, and they are completing their investigation this week. Never in the course of this process did we or law enforcement believe any AFSD students were in any imminent danger. Thanks to those parents who have contacted us about these posts. Please be aware that anytime there is any clear threat to any students, parents and law enforcement will be contacted as soon as possible."

Parents/Guardians- Please remember that the parking lot at WTMS is NOT a drop off area for your students. The two designated areas are on Bannock Avenue in the turn out and along Pocatello Avenue by the lit up sign. Driving through the parking lot in the mornings or after school puts those walking through at risk of being hit. Multiple students and teachers have reported this happening. Please help us keep our students and staff safe by using the drop off areas only. The building is open in the morning so your student will not be left outside in the cold.

Students will be taking a practice ISAT tomorrow. Please remind them to charge their Chromebooks.
