
7th grade science "Salmon Run" activity




The end of the school year is fast approaching. Here are a few reminders for parents and guardians:
All Chromebooks, chargers and cases need to be turned in tomorrow.
Also, our lost and found is overflowing. Please come check the table in front of the office by the end of next week.
We are looking forward to the last 4 days of the 2021-2022 school year!

6th grade students need to have any missing work turned in by this Thursday, May 19. Homework lab will be avaliable all week before and afterschool.

We have been a bit behind in pictures, but here come our students of the week for the last three weeks.




Thanks to everyone who helped our staff feel appreciated this week, especially to all the parents who helped with the yummy feast today. It was a great week!





Congratulations to all participants and winners of the 2022 WTMS Science Fair.
1st place (3 way tie): Kayla Mendez, Courtney Hunt and Elizabeth Nava (Synthetic webbing), Jersey Sprague and Kimber Palazzo (Water testing), and Armando Pena, Eduardo Gonzalez and Oscar Cardona (Growing plants under different conditions)
2nd place: Valeria Torres and Marely Palacios (Fizzing bath bombs)
3rd place: Ella Colucci (How dogs react to music)
Honorable Mention: Galilea Alvarez and Esmeralda Cano (Fire Snake).


6th grade learned to be positive in writing captions for pictures of their classmates before they "post" online.



7th geade students are learning the anatomy of frogs through dissection.





Amazing 7th grade field trip to Museum of Idaho





8th graders finished their Science ISAT this morning and are enjoying some homeroom bonding time before the movie this afternoon. They won the 2022 WTMS Pride Week competition and earned a free half day of fun.





Don't forget if you have a 6th or 7th grader, they need to come prepared for their field trip tomorrow.
8th graders need to make sure their Chromebooks are charged for the Science ISAT in the morning and they will be having a pajama/movie day in the afternoon.

6th grades CSI Fieldtrip has been slighlty adjusted. We will be skipping the walking tour due to weather. Students should go to homeroom in the AM for the revised schedule. We will be leaving for Twin Falls at 10:00AM for the planterium show.

FLEX Makerspace students are designing a device to collect rock samples on a mission to the Moon!
