American Falls High School

It’s been a busy week for American Falls Golf! ⛳️ Our JV team kicked things off with their first tournament on Monday in Lava Hot Springs, followed by our Varsity competing there on Wednesday. We wrapped up the week by hosting district teams today at our beautiful home course, American Falls Golf Course! A huge shoutout and THANK YOU to our local course for being such an incredible gem in Southeast Idaho. We’re so grateful for the support and the opportunity to play and host on such a quality course. Our golfers continue to grow—improving both their skills and their mental game each time they step on the course. Proud of this group and excited for what’s ahead! 🦫

Tough night for Beaver Softball and Beaver Baseball as both squads battled hard against Bear Lake but came up just short on the scoreboard. The effort, the grit, the heart—it was all there. These are the kinds of games that shape a season and sharpen a team. “Every strike, every swing, every inning is a chance to grow.” Proud of the fight. Proud of the progress. The bounce‑back is coming. 🖤❤️

Baseball traveled to Marsh Valley to take on the Eagles.

Baseball hosted Soda Springs today and fell to the Cardinals 4-14.

The boys fought with heart from first pitch to last, just coming up short on the scoreboard. ⚾️❤️🖤 “You can’t be afraid to fail. It’s the only way you succeed.” — Joe Carter Proud of the grit. Proud of the growth. This group is trending in the right direction, and the best baseball is still ahead. 💪🔥

Spring is right around the corner, and things are already growing in the greenhouse. Students in Mr. Kindall's Greenhouse Management class have been busy starting seedlings and preparing for our annual Spring Plant Sale over Mother's Day weekend. Here's a quick behind-the-scenes look at what's to come.

Students who enjoy hands‑on work and creating something solid and lasting may thrive in welding. Welders use precision, skill, and technical knowledge to build and repair metal structures across industries like construction, manufacturing, and transportation. It’s a high‑demand career where craftsmanship truly matters.

Median Income - $48,370 (while initially low, many welders earn higher salaries after specializing in a specific type of welding)

If you are ready to craft, take Intro to Mechanics, Welding 210, Welding 211, and Fabrication.

Baseball played hard but came up short in the doubleheader against Filer.

A whole lot of baseball today for the Beaver Boys, grinding through a doubleheader against North Fremont. Tons learned, real growth, and a team that keeps getting better every inning. Just came up short on the scoreboard, but not in heart. ❤️🖤⚾️ “You just can’t beat the person who never gives up.” — Babe Ruth This group keeps showing up, keeps fighting, and keeps climbing. The wins will follow. 💪🔥

Beavers Softball left it all on the field today. A true battle with Preston came down to a nail‑biter in the bottom of the 7th.
