For the last month, students in Caroline Wight’s DE POLS 1102 have been studying and writing essays about the turmoil of the Civil Rights Movement, the Vietnam War, and more modern events like 9/11 and the rise of executive orders. They’re trying to answer the question “Are we in the middle of another civil rights movement? Here they’re preparing to present their findings to Ms. Wight.
Our Explorations class had a unit where we practiced converting recipes. We finished off the unit by making no-bake cookies in class based on their conversions.
The softball team beats Snake River3-2 in the first game of the district tournament. They play again Saturday at 4:00 in Preston.
Sunshine and cameras — the perfect duo! ☀📸 Our Photography I students snapped some vibrant pictures of flower and vegetable varieties in the school greenhouse as part of a collaborative project. Their pics will be used to create custom bench cards for plant displays in the greenhouse and to be used for their POS system. This project blends creativity with real-world application in horticulture and marketing- - - creativity in action! 🌿🌼

Seniors win the annual Powerbuff volleyball game as part of Beaver week.
A huge shout out to American Falls Golf Course for providing a beautiful place for our athletes to play to golf! The season is well under way as our team prepares for districts. The team heads to Soda Springs and Blackfoot next week!
