Mrs. Hanini's 3rd grade class had the honor of celebrating Sheriff Campbell, as he retires after 36 years of dedicated service in law enforcement.
Our students worked so hard to create a special “Badge of Honor, Heart of Gold – Thank You for Your Service” book just for him. Each student shared why police officers are important to our community, how Sheriff Campbell has inspired them to consider becoming officers one day, and wrote heartfelt thank-you notes accompanied by their own drawings. They even included some fun and thoughtful ideas for ways he can enjoy his well-earned retirement!
We are so grateful for his years of commitment, courage, and care for our community. 💙

Our 4th graders have been busy scientists 🐟✨
They’ve been raising trout right in our classrooms—watching them grow from tiny eggs, to alevins hiding in the rocks, and now to little fish swimming around the tank! The students have loved seeing the trout life cycle firsthand and learning just how amazing nature can be. What a cool experience!
