As the new school year approaches, the students of American Falls are again fortunate enough to be provided with school supplies from our school district. On August 13th, a community service project was organized by Nikki Funk, Alma Medel, and Brigette Crump. The event had teachers from Hillcrest Elementary School, Jr. Simplot Elementary, and American Falls High School pull into the district office with their car from 7:30 to 3:30. From there, volunteers from the American Falls FFA Chapter handed out various types of school supplies. With our 32 volunteers, we were able to hand out thousands of school supplies to this year's teachers.
All the members who volunteered were provided with warm tacos from Los Palacios for lunch.
