Beaver Run Disc Golf Course

Exciting things are happening in American Falls! A brand-new Beaver Run Disc Golf Course is currently under development and will soon offer students, families, and community members another great reason to get outdoors.

The course, located on the American Falls High School campus, is designed to bring together recreation, wellness, and community connection. Thanks to the support of the East Idaho Youth Sports Commission and Partner Steel, Beaver Run Disc Golf Course is becoming a reality for the American Falls community. Their generous contribution is helping make this project come to fruition.

"I am so excited to see this project come to life. It's been a work in progress for two years and it's finally happening!" said AFHS Strength Coach, Hailey Lusk. "This will bring more PLAY to our 'Read, Talk, Play' initiative."

Leading the project is Mr. Butterworth, our WTMS 8th grade Social Studies teacher, whose vision, experience, and dedication have guided the design of the course. Additional thanks go to seniors Chance Povey and Titus Dillow for their work in assisting, designing and organizing the layout of the course for their senior project.

Installation of the baskets is set to begin this weekend, followed by tee pad construction and placement. Once complete, Beaver Run Disc Golf Course will provide a fun and inclusive outdoor activity for players of all ages and abilities.

Stay tuned for updates and an official opening date—Beaver Run Disc Golf Course is coming soon to American Falls!
