We are coming together as a community to support the Kids Heart Challenge. We are so delighted to report that with the support of our Hillcrest Elementary families and community, we have already raised $7,800 of our $10,000 goal! We hope you are as proud as we are of our students and their passion for helping others!
Our students have participated in the Kids Heart Challenge program for twenty-eight years and counting, and it provides our school not just the satisfaction of doing a good deed for an important cause, but also the benefit of receiving $500—$800 in gift certificates to use for the purchase of physical education equipment.
The Kids Heart Challenge is such a powerful event and provides great opportunities to teach our students the importance of helping others while they learn the links between physical activity and healthy living. By participating in the program, our students are having fun while also helping to fight heart disease and stroke.
We are so grateful to our Hillcrest families and community for their support of the Kids Heart Challenge. We are close to reaching our goal, but we need your help to reach it by February 16th!
