Kindergarten Orientation:  As part of the getting ready for kindergarten process, Hillcrest Elementary will be inviting you and your child to Kindergarten Orientation April 30, 2025.  We will send out a letter reminding you of the upcoming event.  It is an important time for your student to start and become familiar with the school and for both you and your student to see a classroom and for parents to learn what they need to work on so your student is ready to be successful in the fall.

Kindergarten Meet & Greet Open House:  There will be a Meet & Greet for new kindergarten aged children and their parents in August (date to be determined).  Hillcrest Elementary School will be inviting you and your child to meet your child’s teacher in their classroom setting.  It is very important to attend, because not only is it another opportunity for your student to become familiar with the school and their teacher, but for the teacher to meet the student and parent and get important information (like how your child will be going home each day), that will help them throughout the year.

We will mail out letters for the above events, occasionally letters don’t get delivered.  We also will post upcoming events and other important information on our Facebook page.  Just search Hillcrest Elementary school and follow.

Thank you for your time during this process. We look forward to working together to support your child and provide them with a great education.
