In library today, students got to learn a little bit about this wonderful place we call home. They got a little history about the old town sight of American Falls that was moved in 1925. They viewed videos of drones flying over the remains of the foundations and sidewalks that are still visible today. Students also navigated a map of American Falls, beginning at Hillcrest and branching out to other areas around our community. Finally, students had the opportunity to design and create businesses and/or activities they would like to see in American Falls. The creativity and ingenuity of these students never ceases to amaze me!! Next week, we are going to move to a little bit bigger picture and learn about our great state of Idaho. Let the traveling (virtually of course) begin!!
